It wasn't easy being a man out of time. There were all the obvious reasons, for this. The difference in technology, for example. When he'd first caught sight of one of those king-sized flat screen TVs, he had simply stopped and stared at the thing for an embarrassingly long time before some SHIELD agent had helpfully steered him away. He was getting better though. He could work a toaster with ease and no longer struggled with the coffee machine. Stoves and microwaves were a cinch, and while he still hadn't quite gotten the hang of the washing machine yet, he was getting there.
